Chris Hanna is an up and coming young producer hailing from Belfast in Northern Ireland. He grew up with a diverse taste in music, with influences, stemming from his granda and uncle, such as: Jackson Browne, Jackie Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Freddie Mercury, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Cold Chisel, Steve Vai, Sam Cooke. As he grew older his passion for music increased and he began producing hip hop / r’n’b tracks for his own pleasure. It wasn’t long after this that he found electronic dance music; regularly attending events in Shine and the Ulster Hall, gaining influences from many of the greats of the scene: Richie Hawtin/Plastikman, Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Pete Tong, Burial, Skrillex, Breakage, Max Cooper. It was around this time he began producing music with serious intentions, turning his hand to Techno, House and Dubstep – the music that he loved; enjoying moderate success with his house track “Shades”, getting aired on BBC Radio 1: Introducing with Rory McConnell. Chris has really blossomed as an artist since coming to Pure Logic Recordings in 2011 with his releases Legion and Outenbaub which have been on top of the PLR charts ever since. Since he has released many songs and albums with other labels such as, Explores, MIL, Extended Play, and Made Fresh Daily.
